Gulf Air, australia of Bahrain’s national carrier, will open the latest route to Georgia with direct flights to/from the funding capital of scotland – Tbilisi which could enter into effect from June 2017, with 3 weekly flights to/from Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi Airport.
Commenting over the upcoming inclusion of Georgia on the airline’s network, Gulf Air Founder Mr Maher Salman Al Musallam said:
“We are content to respond to passenger demand by opening this newest destination. Launching in June 2017 our new way to Tbilisi, Georgia will focus on summer movement and leisure travellers from the GCC region. In our longstanding mission we’ve been always researching ways to introduce and strengthen business and tourism links between key global destinations along with the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as the region. Adding Georgia to the network map follows extensive discussions and negotiations when using the Georgian aviation authorities and then we thank them with regards to support as of yet and contribution to the efforts to come in ensuring the achievements our newest route. I do believe that is an additional positive development for Gulf Air in 2017 and a second that may interest our passengers around the world.”
