Derbyshire food specialists bolster services with acquisition

Derbyshire-based Integrated Food Projects has signed an arrangement to acquire engineering consultancy Structural Design Associates simply because it looks to bolster its services.
The company, which supplies independent advice to food businesses including Kerry Foods, said the move will “play a primary role in growing this business by 40% in 2018”.
With Structural Design Associates under its belt, the Derbyshire business stated it can provide a more complete intend to food makers.
CEO Philip Chatfield said: “This is part of our solution to enable IFP to be self-sufficient in delivering complete facility design.
“Our program’s to both grow capacity within the services SDA already offer, whilst broadening their scope by expanding their civil engineering design capability over the next a year.”
Structural Design Associates owner Keith Williamson added: “We are certain that we will be capable to further get the practice to consider existing and new clients a broader scope of quality services and create on our success to this point when controling clients for example ATL, Repton School, David Nieper and Burton Albion F.C.”
